"I support Sen. Lorraine Rodero Inouye for Mayor because I have been impressed by her experience and leadership at both the state and county levels. Her leadership is marked with honesty, trust and courage to do the right thing," Dan said.
"Improving our schools and enabling our students to receive the best education have always been priorities for Lorraine," he added.
Charmaine Kamaka currently works for the County Hawai'i in the Department of Human Resources, managing the Health and Safety Division. She previously was employed at Amfac and C. Brewer and Co. as a safety coordinator.
"During the many years I have known and worked with Lorraine, I have found her to be tireless and totally committed to the people of the Island of Hawai'i. Lorraine is one of the most caring, hard working people I know. She has devoted her life to making our lives better. She is a leader we can trust to make the right decisions for our community," Charmaine said.
